Insight and Strategy Director – quantitative background
We have a unique role for someone with a strong quantitative background to work across strategic projects, helping to develop and execute growth strategies through a deep quantitative understanding. It’s perfect for someone who is looking to move away from the supplier-client relationship and really have an impact.
The core skills involved are someone who has experience with segmentation studies, deriving commercial insights from those, and then being able to pull multiple data sources together to give clients not only recommendations but work with them on the solution.
In the role, you will lead a growth strategy project for a specific client and be embedded deeply into their business.
Because of that relationship, you’ll have the opportunity to take on unique projects where no two problems are the same and require your expertise and experience to solve these. This will be with the analysis of primary and secondary data assets and apply analytical frameworks to answer client questions, working with a talented team from all these areas.
You’ll build strong and meaningful relationships with stakeholders across multiple divisions, from product and trade to brand, marketing and strategy.
You’ll give a complete view of the market, potential opportunities for new products, brands, white spaces and genuinely impact business decisions.
All you’ll need is
- A background in either quantitative market research, insights, or strategic consulting.
- A solid understanding of segmentation methods.
- The ability to tell a detailed, multi-layered, and impactful story through data and other sources of information – not just the ‘nice to know’ but the ‘so-what’ for clients.
- Able to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
