Senior Research Manager | PR & Comms Insight
We are working with an insight-led communications consultancy who help organisations to develop and protect their brands and reputations. They are looking for a qualitative/mixed methods senior research manager to join their team.
They are a team of mixed-methodology researchers, who specialise in reputation management, strategic positioning and message development. Google are their biggest client and also work alongside Government bodies, private foundations and commercial brands. They conduct consumer and opinion former research and have an emphasis on deep analysis.
All of the decisions across the PR & Comms agency are massively influenced by this research team. It’s an extremely important function of the business model which has led to an increased trust with their clients, which in turn, has created more in depth, powerful and hard-hitting campaigns.
Alongside the strategic positioning and message development, another key area they focus on is thought leadership. They maintain a constant conversation with influencers, opinion formers and consumers to help transform attitudes around brands. This role will be about developing cultural intelligence by building on existing qualitative and quantitative research findings to raise brand profiles.
The crux of the role will be designing the insight programs alongside the senior team, proposal writing, report writing as well as the qual research and analysis of findings. A lot of the quant research is outsourced, but you will use both qual & quant data to identify insights and structuring these into a narrative for your clients.
