We’re working with a boutique qualitative agency who have been set up by some of the best brains in the business, where they have brought in a mixture of those businesses into one house to make them a more strategic consultancy doing advanced qualitative work.
Clients include the likes of Diageo and McDonalds and they also partner with design consultancies and advertising agencies to ensure that solutions are cutting edge and thought about from every angle. There is plenty of international work but I think the main draw is the amount of influence you will have within the company. They are a small team, bit of a start-up mentality but have strong enough client relationships to mean that this position has the best of both sides with stability and growth already there but a small, dynamic culture.
They often do workshops and in-depths within the client’s offices as well as travelling abroad to really understand the cultural nuances in their work.
Senior research executives are involved in all aspects of the project, setting up and running the projects, discussion-guide writing, storytelling and working with the clients. You will be involved in a wide and varied range of brands, sectors, consumer / customer types and research techniques
Alongside this senior team, they will help you develop areas to grow yourself as a researcher too with debriefing and presenting back to clients.
The real draw alongside how much input you will have (rather than being a cog in the wheel at a large agency) is the team.
