Are you a research specialist looking to join a fast-growing media-focused research agency?

The Client

We are working with newly founded fast-growing media-focused research firm, who are looking for a research specialist (Senior Research manager to Research Director level) to lead and further develop their suite of consumer research capabilities. Their syndicated consumer product has been commercially highly successful over the past few years, and now they are looking to invest further to develop their ad hoc quantitative and qualitative research offering. They provide strategic advice to a high-profile client base of leading Hollywood Studios, broadcasters, Netflix, Amazon Video, NowTV, telecoms operators, consulting firms and investment banks providing detailed insights on TV and online viewing trends, behaviours and consumptions, genre preferences, willingness to pay, subscribers and more!

The Role

You will be responsible for running the core syndicated and custom research projects for existing and new clients. You will also be responsible for designing and delivering a regular flow of insightful reports to clients. The role is very client facing – managing existing client inquiries and supporting the sales team in business development.

There is also a lot of freedom and autonomy in this role, they want someone with new ideas and new ways of thinking. This could be things like developing new innovative research or being the face of the business, speaking at events and conferences etc.

Your Skills

The ideal candidate has a background in quantitative research techniques, experience running syndicated consumer research and a desire to drive a research practice forward, along with:

Experience designing and delivering complex custom quantitative research projects
A desire to drive a team forward and create additional business opportunities
At least 3 years’ experience of working with panel data
Passion for on demand and pay to view TV.
