Job Description

We are looking for a research manager to join a successful & growing independent healthcare & pharma agency who have experienced 20 years of year on year growth.

The Client:
This healthcare market research & consulting agency is one of the largest in the world, with 90% of their work being international, working with the biggest names in pharma. The business has remained incredible resilient throughout the current crisis, no one has been made redundant, furloughed or had to reduce hours and they’re ahead of monthly sales targets. They have an established volume and pipeline for the next 6months so need to bring more people in.

They’ve worked on some really thought-provoking projects, for example understanding the journey of type 2 diabetes patients in South Korea. They have an excellent reputation amongst their clients with 91% recommending their work better than competitors. They have offices in London, Europe, the US & Asia and have 5 live roles to fill in the London office, these are all new roles within the business.

The Role:
The research manager is a mixed methods, quant and qual role. You’ll be hands on with projects from taking the brief to presenting insights to cleints. All of the work is ad hoc, trackers are managed by a different team, so the work is all bespoke and built around the clients business and challenge. The role involves working across therapy areas and spans RX and medical devices. You’ll also train and manage junior staff and help write proposals for directors.

Skills:
3-4 years + market research agency experience.
Strong primary research skills, quant or qual
Pharma/healthcare market research agency experience
Experience of management or coaching juniors.

They are a high energy team who are passionate about the sector. There’s a good focus on professional development with regular salary reviews & career plans for each individual.
