Research Director | Fashion/Luxury

  • £65-75k + benefits.
  • Hybrid working – any 2 days a week in their central London office.
  • 50% complex tracking projects and 50% ad hoc.

We’re looking for a Quantitative Research Director to join a respected, MRS award-winning, strategic research agency. You’ll be managing a large key client within the Fashion/Luxury space.

The client:
· An international business with 6 offices across Europe, North America and Asia.
· They have an amazingly talented team of well-trained researchers, ex planners and client-side insight people.
· They’re well known in the industry for going ‘above and beyond’ other research agencies with strategic recommendations.

The role:
This role sits in the ‘Quantitative Consumer Team’ with the key clients in the fashion, retail, lifestyle, gaming and entertainment sectors. You’ll be managing a large client who are in the fashion/luxury space, they’re a key client and have been so for the last 3-4 years or so.

50% of the role will be managing large international (~10 market trackers) and 50% of the time will be ad hoc projects. The ad hoc projects are hugely varied ranging from segmentation to pricing to concept testing to UX to shopper insight to brand positioning research.

Projects are multidisciplinary so you’ll work closely with qual colleagues, spanning UK and international markets using a mix of traditional and digital approaches. The focus of this agency is strategic recommendations and advice that make a difference to their clients!

Skills:

  • c.8 years’ of quantitative market research experience.
  • Ability to make data sing and build strategic recommendations clients can use.
  • Fashion/Luxury category experience a bonus, an interest is essential.
  • Able to lead teams, lead pitches and write proposals.
  • Experience in both tracking and ad hoc studies.
