The Client:

They are one of the largest and most well known Market Research agencies around, with offices all over the globe. They are looking for a Quantitative Research Executive to join their specialist Africa Insights team at their London office.

The Africa Insights team specialises in Consumer, Shopper and Customer research in Sub-Saharan Africa.  Their work focuses mainly on their long established partnership with a leading global beverage company and are integral to their African brand strategy.

The team itself has a very close knit culture as well as having fantastic opportunities to learn by working directly with senior members of the team. It also sits in a unique position of having that boutique feel while still having the support of a huge global business behind it.

The Role:

This is a quantitative research position so they are looking for someone with a good grasp of quantitative research. You would be working on a major brand tracking study in 10 African markets, which helps to guide and inform their client’s brand strategy in Africa. Also, there is a range of ad hoc work as well, covering Innovation, Shopper Understanding and Creative optimisation.

You would be a key cog in this close knit team, by helping with the planning, implementation and execution of research projects for the full research cycle including: day-to-day project management, designing questionnaires, delivery of analysis, development of actionable insights and effective presentations to clients. While also liaising with other teams on the ground in Africa as well as elsewhere in the world. You would develop strong client handling skills in a team which has very strong partnerships with their clients.

Skills:
Around 1 year’s experience in Quantitative Market Research.
Strong mathematical, data and analytical skills.
Understanding of the market research cycle – from questionnaire design, data analysis and reporting.
Experience with Microsoft Office (esp. Powerpoint and Excel).
