Quantitative Research Director
They are one of the largest and most well-known Market Research agencies around, with offices all over the globe. They are looking for a Quantitative Research Director to join their specialist Africa Insights team at their London office.
The Africa Insights team specialises in Consumer, Shopper and Customer research in Sub-Saharan Africa. Their work focuses mainly on their long-established partnership with a leading global beverage company and are integral to their African brand strategy.
The team itself has a very close-knit culture as well. It also sits in a unique position of having that boutique feel while still having the support of a huge global business behind it.
As a Research Director you will immerse yourself in your client’s worlds to really understand their brands, communications and business strategy in order to help them grow. The majority of their work comes from large, global accounts and involves managing brand trackers across multiple countries. They also do regular work across innovation, creative and shopper domains, as well as delivering large-scale advanced analytics projects.
You will get to develop collaborative, strategic partnerships with your clients. As their research capabilities are broad, you will also find yourself managing multiple data sources – combining brand tracking (mostly automated and app-based), brand positioning, brand guidelines, analytics, client data, retail tracking data, media data and segmentation etc.
- Highly strategic and consultative individual with a passion for building client relationships and turning data into actionable business insights.
- Experience in brand tracking is required. Additional experience in innovation, creative, shopper, advanced analytics and CX also desirable.
- Experience working with global clients and managing large-scale multi-country projects.
- Experience managing and inspiring teams in a previous role/s and a clear understanding of management fundamentals.
