Qualitative/Mixed Researcher | Ai Insights Start up
We are working with an insights and AI business who merges machine learning with human and cultural intelligence. Driven by their proprietary anthropology AI platform, they merge billions of data points from digital behaviour with ethnographic immersions.
They are expanding their business and are looking for qualitative researchers and cultural strategists.
The company started with 5 people in 2018 and have grown to 109! They’re well known in APAC and are now looking to grow in Europe and North America. They don’t do any primary research, it’s data such as social media, search data, blogs, reviews on eCommerce sites can also be existing client research data or sales data, TGI, Euromonitor, etc.
They built all of the relevant data into their AI model – which was built by anthropologists and semioticians. From there, researchers give context to the data and generate ground-breaking insights to help clients make informed strategic decisions.
Clients are 50% commercial and 50% not for profit, including Unicef, Bill & Melinda Gates foundation, Unilever, Visa, GSK etc.
They recently did a project on sustainability for a home care client. They wanted to find out how consumers see sustainability and what the gap is between intent and action. They gathered different data sources and delivered the report to the client. The tech team do all of the project management and running of the AI systems.
They are looking for a researcher who can deliver reports, manage clients and build relationships. Ideally, they need someone to have a qualitative research background who challenge clients and give strategic recommendation on their problems. These are across as comms testing, segmentation, NPD, to name a few.
They are looking to take multiple people on now from research manager to associate director level. They are open to superb research directors also. The salary is £45k-£55k with some flexibility.
Everyone is working from home within the UK so this role will be working from home. There is no London office at the moment however they will be looking to get one in Central London towards the end of the year.
