Market Analyst (Mandarin Speaker)
Up to £40k.
Flexible working post-Covid.
We’re looking for a UK based Market Analyst to join a Research & Consulting agency.
They’re a specialist Tech, Media & Entertainment specialist research consultancy based in St Albans with a genuinely unrivalled client list. Clients include people like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Samsung, Sony, Huawei. They are around 60 people and are looking to continue their organic growth (double figures for the last few years). They’re a team of around 50 people with excellent staff retention & glassdoor reviews! We’ve filled a number of vacancies with this business, they’re a really good employer, modern, flexible and willing to invest time in their staff.
This particular role is focused on the China electronics market, they’ve built up a really good network of contacts and business in China and now need to hire an experienced analyst or senior analyst to service the clients.

Methodology wise they have their own proprietary syndicated studies, as well as conducting ad hoc quant market research and qualitative interviews. The role will involve covering consumer and B2B markets in the following industries, IT, PC, Computer infrastructure, Pro-AV (Audio-visual), video conferencing, broadcast & education technology. You’ll with Chinese brands such as Hisense, Hikevision, KTC, Changhong and also international brands such a Google, Microsoft, Samsung who are in the Chinese market.
2-3 years plus experience in market analyst/industry analyst or market research role.
Fluent Mandarin language skills.
Excellent analytical & report writing skills.
