Healthcare Research Manager | Qualitative or Mixed

The Health team are 40 strong in London, globally they’re 85 and billing c£28m. They pretty much work with every big pharma brand there is as well as start-ups. In the UK they have 7 different £1m accounts in the UK There’s a lot of buzz about them at the moment as they won big at last years’ MRS awards.
Most of their work is ad hoc, both quant & qual, and clients are increasingly wanting more and more added value consultancy pieces. They are looking for a research manager who is mixed methods but ideally with a qualitative lean. They are looking for someone with core research skills but more than that, someone who is interested in presenting to clients and who is keen to push boundaries when it comes to new methodologies and strategic thinking.
Their work is really varied too anything from market exploration, patient journeys, concept testing and eliciting emotional insights, so there’s plenty of variety to get your teeth in to.
Some recent projects include:
– De-coding the new culture of wellness amongst millennials
– Identifying the key leverage points and moments of truth in MS
– Re-writing the terminal cancer patient story and defining a global healthcare brand from the outside in
They also have some really interesting digital research approaches. Which have really taken off, they’re really embracing technology reflecting where the world is today and how people actually live their lives. In fact, they have just won an award this week for best new product on one of their visualisation tools!
