Commercial Marketing Executive | FTSE100 Data-Driven Company
Do you have some experience with research but really, want to go into marketing? Do you see yourself as commercially driven, with a head for numbers, but want to be at the forefront of the marketing campaign decision making?
We are working with a FTSE 100 online retailer, who are recognised for how they use data. In contrast to competitors, they have no physical stores – it’s all online. What this means is that the amount of data they have from each customer is huge. This data comes from how consumers navigate the website/app, what do they buy, how often and what are the factors that influence these particular purchasing decisions?
Their marketing isn’t about subjectivity or based on gut feel over what might work. They have the data and the marketing team is there to target new customers, keeping retention high and develop loyalty. They have established media channels from digital to TV to social marketing and beyond. Subtly, they apply targeting and personalisation to say the right thing at the right time to every individual customer.
What does this role look like?
- End to end management of concurrent projects
- Undertake feasibility analysis to sell innovative ideas to Senior Management
- Work alongside the creative and data teams throughout the business
- Regularly present campaign performance
- Interpret and manipulate analysis supplied by the Insight team
- Develop and improve marketing initiatives
They are looking for someone with knowledge of data to join their marketing team, someone who understands consumers and is fascinated by consumer behaviour – and how to market to them.
